I am trying to recall a poem I read thirty years back:
The arching trees above the path
had formed a pleasant shade
And here to screen him while he slept
An infant boy was laid.
An then the poem goes on to describe how the mother sighted an elephant on the path approaching the child, and the elphant crossed over the child without harming him. I don't recall the rest of the poetry nor its author
Anyone can help?
