I would like all you knowledgeable people to tell me whether an MA Tamil from Annamalai University or Madras University are meaty and worthwhile, if so which one is better etc, for a person who wants to enroll not for career prospects, but simply for learning some thing of Tamil Literature in a systematic way.

  I think the M.A offered by the Madurai kamaraj University (Distance Education) and for Private Candidates is better than others.
