ICM-Kannada- Meaning of the song ArEnu mADuvaru and ninna magana gALi Ganavamma

Shri Purandaradasaru had enormous knowledge of Kannada language.
He knows to play with the words having perfect meaning while writing lyrics.
Example: In the first song ‘ArEnu mADuvaru’
He uses ‘Aru’ is number Six in Kannada, but instead of ‘yAru’ (means-who)
Like wise ‘AriMda’ instead of ‘yAriMda’ (means by whom)
Hasivaritu – too hungry (hungry person knows the agony)
rasadAleya kabbu – Well grown Sugarcane

manavaritu naDeyada – not understaning a person properly
naDevudake kAlilla - though legs are there, there is no strength to walk

In the song ‘ninna magana gALi’

He uses gALi means Air; Wind (wild), evil spirit (devva in kannada, which gives unwanted hardships)
Ganavamma – enormous or too much
kAlu taMdu – brought his legs (how can it be?) means child’s walking
