Pls post your views on Balakumaran stories.
I have become a big fan of his writings, especially his stories written in the past 5 years.
His stories are very spiritual.Also he writes as if it is his responsibility to guide the younger generation esp. women, the way to live, spiritually and also emotionally.
His writings inspires the reader a lot.
I wish to know your views on Balakumaran.

  My best friend introduced his writings to me. The first time I read his novel, it was about Abirami battar, I was totally excited and felt so happy that there is someone who can reach such heights in explaining spirituality in thamizh.
  
  I was so interested that I kept on reading any novel written by him. Certainly more than 90% of his fans see him as a spiritual teacher. I remember I had read at least 20 novels of him.
  
  Then suddenly I felt a strange feeling that I no longer had the excitement in reading his novels. When I analyzed my situation, I understood that I did agree with almost all of his views and policies. I realized I no more need his writings if it's only for keeping ourselves in the right track of life. But he's certainly more than that.

  I like the responsible way of Bala's writing. He is defenitely trying to give good messages to the current generation.
  
  Few years ago I though all Bala's social novels are worthless (that was my teenage), but now I feel they are real (I am in my late twenties now).
  Bala's historical novels are really really good, I have no words to talk abt that.
  He wrote abt 63 nayanmars in "Karpoora mullai" and "Ennuyir thozhan" based on "Sundarar" are marvelous.
  Kal thirai - a story abt Nithya kalyana perumal temple.
  A story abt Abirami pattar ( I forgot the name of that novel).
  I also read the his early novels - Mercury pookal, irumbu kuthiraigal etc.
  Since I moved to USA, I am not getting his new novels, but I want someone to give review or refernce on his latest novels.
  
  I wish to write more on this forum, based on the replies.
