Archana, If you are organized and can find the stuff when you need them, it is better to get a 5 day pass. 5 day passes are cheaper than buying tickets for individual days. Also there is no expiration date to use the pass so if you use only 3 days in this trip, you can use the rest of the 2 days on your next trip. The ticket prices go up every year. So you will save money by buying them now.
If you book ahead of time, you can stay on the disney resorts for a good price. yOu can beat the crowd and also you get some special previleges by staying on the premises.
We try to go to the park around 11 am as many visitors go for lunch at 12-2 pm. Since you start late, you can have your lunch late at 3 pm and that way you can go for rides when there is less crowd. Also you can stay till the closing and you will not be as tired as if you go there when the park opens in the early morning.

we went for a week vacation in july, Our travel agent was AAA. We booked in one of the resort hotels I think that is best deal because for three people five days with the park hopper pass was less than 2300. let me know if this helps. You can carry soda , snacks, water inside the resort hotels. It is expensive once you get there. Also if you want try buying fruits or other stuff outside before you go in.

It would be a good idea to visit their site.If u have kids travelling with you,you can go through disneyland site and see a map of all entertainmets that are there and select the ones u prefer.the details are given there. In this way,
not only can u save time,u can be sure u didn't miss something that was good.I made a list of those rides we wanted, and so we didn't waste much time trying to figure out what's happening.
also take note of imp shows such as Cinderella's banquet or fireworks and their location and time as soon as u get inside,so u can be there at correct time and enjoy other rides meantime.
similarly,if u are planning to go to SeaWorld,Univ.Studios etc,do the same way.without kids,u can complete disneyland in one day,but with them,u need min. 2 days.be sure to buy raincoats or something like that since its very expensive there.Take care

We buy our tickets from AAA also. Sometimes they have specials or have last year tickets (especially in the beginning of the year).
Regarding the food, you can take your rice cooker, raw rice, fruits, pickles and buy buttermilk before you go into the park. You can make rice at the hotel and eat it with buttermilk and pickles. You can also take tamarind rice paste and peanuts. If you want a compact multipurpose steamer, try Idleez steamer (http://innoconcepts.com/idleez.htm). You can also use the steamer to cook rice, boil eggs and vegetables.
You can also use the chapathimaker to toast your premade chapathis, naans, pita bread or to cook omlette. These are compact appliances and are multipurpose to make your travel light and comfortable.

We generally stay in the Orlando suburbs, in hotels that offer extended stay suites like Homestead or Residence Inn. They have a kitchen, with microwave, fridge and they provide kitchen utensils. Once you get there, just make a trip to the nearest grocery (or you can pack some groceries from home) and you are all set!
You can cook rice in microwave - comes out very well. We usually carry food when going to the parks. We also eat a brunch from our hotel room, and get there at around 12. Make sure to carry snacks, water and juice (cans) in backpacks food is very expensive in the parks.
