This is a type of payasam which is very famous in
Kerala. Payasam is made from the jackfruit which is made into a halwa.
First jackfruit is cut into pieces and then it is
boiled and grind it to a paste. Put the paste into a kadai and stirr it well with jaggery . Put some ghee also. Stirr it well till it comes
like halwa. One cup of paste one cup of jaggery
is enough. Take milk from coconut and boil the
chakka vizhuthu with the second and third milk
from the coconut. Pour the first milk from the
coconut afterwards. Cut coconut into very small
pieces in ghee and put into the prarthaman. Really it is very good to taste. We can make the
payasam whenever we want to if we make the halwa
in advance and kept it preserved.
