Hi Pallavi,
I have not found marati moggu in the indian stores in NJ. Someone told me it is star anise. It is black in color and about 1 inch long with tapered tip.

Maratti Moggu is not star anise.
Actually they are dried buds of Caparis Spinosa.
Not available in USA.
Except may be in California in Fremont.
