Unhealthy Food Combinations!

Hi friends,
Recently, I read that wrong cominations of our food intake like fish with carbohydrates or 2 kinds of carbohydrates in same meal are extremely bad for health. This means that we shouldn't have fish kuzhambu with rice, fish & chips etc. Also, we must not eat both chapathi & rice in the same meal !!But we always have like this only, over all these years; in fact, in thaali meals, in restaurants, rice is served after puri/chapathi only. Also, that cucumber, radish etc. should never be consumed alongwith water...
To what extent is all this true? What are other combinations of food meals, that are harmful to health?
Any info. , is highly appreciated.
