Hi friends,
does anyone know the English names for the kinds of keerai that is used in madras keerai koottus. I would be very interested since I remember that in the keerai koottu at home the stalk was also used but here (US,MD) in the grocery store I don't seem to be able to find that kind...

citizen told that the spinach is suru keerai. Actually it's not a siru keerai. it is kind of pasalai keerai. keerai kadaiyal and kootu can be done with this.
