Acidity
Have watermelons and cucumbers aplenty to avoid acidity.
Drinking chilled water at regular intervals will help bring acidity under control.

Indigestion
Taking ginger pickle along with your meals helps digest food better.
Add 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger (adrak) to 1 cup water. Cover and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Stain and drink 1-2 times a day.
Mix ½ teaspoon pepper powder, ½ teaspoon of cumin (jeera) powder to a glass of buttermilk. Have this 1-2 times a day.

Memory
Pure clove oil is believed to boost memory and concentration
Diffusing clove oil in the air at home or in office helps people attain mental focus
Soak almonds in water overnight, then rub in milk and give it to small child to lick on. This will improve his memory power.
Mix 1 teaspoon honey and a pinch of finely powdered cinnamon (dalchini) and take every night

Cough and Cold
Red small onions can be used as an expectorant. Crushed small onions should be mixed with sugar candy and kept for some time. The juice from the onion sugar candy preparation helps to liquefy phlegm and prevent its recurrence. 3 - 4 tsp. of juice has to be taken in intervals that will relieve the cough and soothe the throat.

Urinary disorders

Onions are beneficial in the treatment of urinary disorders. For burning sensation while passing urine, boil 100 gm of onion in 600 ml of water. When the volume reduces to half, it is ready for consumption. If onion and sugar mixture is taken, it gives good relief for retention of urine.
Put seeds of wild tulsi (basil) in water, a jelly like liquid is formed. Add a little sugar to this and drink daily for a few days.
