Dear Hubbers, I live in Malaysia. I would be leaving to Texex in U.S.A,at the end of December to do my M.B.A. I intend to take a rice cooker and a blender. I understand that the voltage in that country is different from ours. How do I go about it.Since this is my first trip to the western country I am blank about the whole thing.
also what type food stuff can I take along. Are there any hubbers living in Huaston or nearby places. Thanks

Hello Confused,
Carry your pressure cooker with you and if you have a lot of wet/dry grinding to do, carry mixer grinder with 110 volts.
Sambar/Rasam powders/Perungayam are a must.
Take care,

Hi confused,
I live in houston, you can get all groceries here without any problem. Just bring your blender, and other appliances that are 110 volts. You can buy a rice cooker fairly cheap at Walmart.
