Bindi Masala (Vendakai Masala)

Ingredients:

Bindi / Vendakai Wash, drain,
cut to 2 - 3 pieces and fried
in oil till light brown 10 - 15
1 - 2 Onions Finely Chopped 1 Cup
Tomato Chopped Finely 1 Cup
Turmeric 1/4 Spoon
Chille and Coriander Powder 1 Spoon
Garam Masala 1 Spoon
Dhaniya / Kothambir leaves As desired
Salt As desired

In a kadai heat 2 spoons of oil, fry the onions till brown, add turmeric, chille and coriander powders, finely chopped tomatos and fry for a few minutes till the tomatos get mashed and finally add fried Bindi mix well till the masala coats well, add little water and let it boil and mix well. Finally add the garam masala, chopped dhaniya leaves and serve hot with chapathi, poori or with rice.
