just wanted to thank you for the wonderful tip posted on your site about adding the paste of a roasted onion to sambar. im a connoisseur of sorts and it was the first time i'd read that. tried it out and must say, the sambar came out tops! thanks. btw, i hail from nagercoil in tamilnadu and would to love to know if any of your hubbers come from that part of the world.
