Hi can any one give the recipe of American chopseuy(veg). Its an famous indo chinese recipe.

This weeks special recipe - American chopsuey ( an Indo - chinese )
dish
American Chopsuey
Ingredients :
Onion -1
Bell pepper - 1
Tomatoes - 1
Spring onion - 2 tsp
Tomato sauce - 6 tsp
Hot and sweet sauce - 3 tsp
Macaroni - 1 cup
Preparation
Heat 6 tsp of oil in a pan and add the cut onions and fry them until
they are brown , and then add the tomatoes and then add the bell pepper
and spring onion, then add the sauces and let it simmer for about 20
minutes and then add 1 tsp of salt
Deep fry the macaroni or you can cook them with enough water and salt
and drain them. Then mix it with the sauce

1 c To 2 c chicken parboiled and
-cut into bite-size pieces
1 tb Teriyaki sauce
1 tb Soy sauce
2 c Divided water
1 Heaping tablespoon peanut
-butter
1 cn (14-oz) fancy mixed chinese
-vegetables
1 cn (8-oz) sliced water
-chestnuts cut in half
1 cn (4-oz) drained mushrooms
1/2 c Fresh broccoli florets
1/2 c Fresh cauliflower florets
1/2 c Diagonally sliced celery
Olive oil Handful of fresh pea

Ingredients
For veg. stirfry:
1 carrot
10-12 runner beans
1 tbsp. cabbage
1 tbsp. beansprouts (optional)
1 onion
1 potato
salt to taste
1 tbsp. oil or butter
For gravy:
1 cup tomato puree
1 tbsp. cornflour
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. each ginger & garlic paste
1/2 tsp. red chilli powder or paste
1 tbsp. tomato sauce
salt to taste
fried noodles
1 tbsp. butter
Method
For Gravy:
Melt fat add all pastes and stir. Add puree, bring to a boil.
Add 1 1/2 cups water, boil for 5 minutes.
Make paste of cornflour with 2-3 tbsp. of water. Keep aside.
Add chilli, salt, sauce, sugar, stir.
Add cornflour paste, continuously stirring to avoid lumps.
Add 1/4 of noodles.
Boil for 2-3 minutes, keep aside.
For Veg.stirfry:
Cut vegetables into thin julienne strips.
Heat fat in a nonstick or heavy pan.
Add vegetables and stirfry on high till crisp.
Add salt, stir.
Just before serving, add to the boiling gravy.
Pour into serving dish, spread the fried noodles on top.
Serve piping hot.
Note:
For quick fried noodles, dry roast hakka or instant noodles till light.
Deep fry in hot oil till crisp.
Or blanch in boiling water till limp. Drain and towel dry.
Deep fry till crisp.
Making time: 30 minutes
Makes: 2-3 servings
