can anyone tell me how to make the best briyani..?

Chicken - 1 whole
chilli podi - 1 tsp
salt - acc to your taste
turmeric - 1 tsp
Clean & cut the chicken and marinate with the above
ing for 4 hrs or overnight.
Thalipu:
--------
Cinnamon - 1 full
cloves - 6
AnnasiPoo - 1/2
Cardamom - 4
Aniseed - 10 big pinches
bay leaves - 2
Masala Podi:

Pattai - 1 full
Sombu - 1 tsp
cardamom - 4
cloves - 4
Javantri - 3
Nut meg - 1/4 tsp
Dry roast these ing in kadai without oil and gring to
fine power.
Masala Paste:1

Garlic - 8 Med cloves
Ginger - acc to garlic
G.chillies - 8
Gring it to a fine paste.
Masal Paste:2
--------------
Coconut - 1 big piece
Cinnamon - 1/2
Cloves - 2
Sombu - 2 pinches
Cardamom - 1
Grind it to a fine paste.
Ing:
----
Briyani rice - 1/4 padi (or) 2 cups
Onions - 1
Lemon - 1
Corrinander leaves - 1 bunch
Mint leaves - 5 stems
1.Dry fry Biyani rice slighty and keep it aside
2.Chop Onions lenghtwise.keep it ready all the masala
paste and masala podi. Finely chop corriander leaves + mint leaves.
3.Heat oil. add all the ing under Thalipu:. When you smell the aroma add the onions and saute until golden brown.
4.Add half chopped corriander leaves & all the mint leaves and fry for 1 min
5.Now add the chicken + turmeric Podi+ salt and cook until the chicken changes its color.
6.Add masala Paste:1 and fry for a min and add the
masala podi & close the pan and cook till the chicken is half done(15 min)
7.Now add the masala paste:2 and fry for a min and
then add the water. When water satrts to boil add rice + 1 lemon juice and turn down the heat to med and cook for 7 min.
8.open the pan and check. when the water is absorbed and you have little water left in the pan add the remaning chopped corriander leaves and stir and close the lid and turn down the heat to simmer and cook for another 15 min to 20 min. Open the pan and add some finely chopped corriander leaves and stir the briyani and close the lid and let it sit for 30 min.
9.now you can eat briyani as it is (or) you can leave the briyani in preheated oven for 20 min and serve.
-Briyani is ready.
