Swapna,
Are you asking what type of cheese is typically used to top pizza? That is mozzarella, a fresh, white cheese that is "stringy" when melted. You may purchase it in rounds (you will have to slice thinly or grate it) or already grated in cello packages. Every US grocery store as well as Sam's Club will have this in the cheese/dairy case.

Swapna,
I neglected to say that this cheese comes packaged in rectangle slabs as well. Brands are very similar and should not matter much. You can buy very fresh, unsalted mozzarella from an Italian deli. This is wonderful on pizza as well though it is creamier when it melts and needs a little salt as seasoning.

You can get Buffalo mozzarella in Europe, i.e made from Buffalo milk.
It is very rich, I am sure some food companies in the subcontinent must have tried to produce it.

I am not sure whether you are based in India or ourside. If outside of India, I am sure you could get some of the best international brands. But make sure you do not go blindly for any mozzarella that only gives you good stringy texture but turns out to be too chewy and tasteless once the pizzas cool down while eating.
Instead go for a blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheese that may not be as stringy but you will enjoy each bite till you finish it, never mind if your last bite was not as piping hot as the first one.
If you are in India, you may want to try the new Pizza Cheese introduced by Britannia as it is much tastier that pure mozzarella. DO NOT GO FOR AMUL AS IT IS EXTREMELY CHEWY AND TASTELESS.
If you are in Bombay, you may want to try a brand available at Crawford market - ELITE which melts very well but may not offer stringy texture. But it is very tasty and an ideal one for pizzas and Cheese Toasts / grilled cheese sandwiches.

I am looking for good Cheese brands (both Indian and Foreign,)for retailing at my supermarket. As we have considerable demand for all types of Cheese in Goa, India. Amul and Britania brands are already stocked by us.

I am looking for chadder cheese for pizza in India. Does it have to be processed cheese or different? Usually motzerella and chadder cheese is mixed together then put on pizza before baking. Who are suppliers in India. I am based in Ahmedabad, India.

I'm looking for the pizza from Sam's Club! We were buying 3 pizza packs from Sam's Club which had the sauce and seasoning and pizza crust individually wrapped in one package. Pizza to make at home. Sam's Club in Tucson, AZ does not carry this product any more and we need the product code or UPC code from the package in order to ask Sam's why they don't carry this anymore or where we can buy the pizza. It is one of our favorite pizza's and we added our own Pizza cheese which Sam's use to sell as well and stopped selling it and we add our own fresh pepperoni which made an excellent pizza. Can anyone tell me the exact product name, Product Code and/or UPC code on this product?
