Hi,
Can anyone give me a recipe for a simple green-chilli- pickle. I have seen it in several places with a lot of mustard seeds, but don't know how to make it.

Here is a green chilly pickle recipe.
Ingredients:
Long Green Chilly Peppers 20
Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
Turmeric 1/4tsp
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Kaayam (Asafetida Powder) 1/4 tsp
Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Sesame seed oil 1 tablespoon
Lemon 4-6 (to make sufficient juice to cover the chilly slices completely)
Method:
Wash and dry the Green chilly peppers. Cut the peppers to round pieces. ( about one centimeter long.)
Heat a pan on the stove top and pour a teaspoon Sesame seed oil and roast Fenugreek and Cumin seeds one by one to a golden brown color. Roast the Mustard seeds until they pop. (cover the pan with a dry lid to prevent splattering of the Mustard seeds.) Grind the roasted Mustard, Cumin and Fenugreek seeds and keep aside.
Pour 1 tablespoon sesame seed oil to the empty pan and heat it up. To this add the ground Fenugreek, Cumin, Mustard seed and Asafetida powder and stir for a minute or two. Now add the chilly slices, Turmeric and salt to this and sauté for a couple of minutes. Turn off the stove and remove the pan from the stove top. Let this cool. When the contents are cold add the lemon juice and mix well. Make sure that there is enough Lemon juice that the pickle is completely soaked in it. Taste and adjust salt or any other ingredients. Let this cool before you store this in a dry glass bottle. Store this in the refrigerator. Wait at least 2 days before serving the pickle and always use a clean dry spoon to serve this. This will stay fresh in the refrigerator for a month.
