Hi Arvind,
You cannot buy curry leaf plant's seeds in USA.(This is to the best of my knowledge. Forgive me if I am wrong) You can buy a plant from some of the Indian Stores of warm climated cities of USA. Once the plant is growing nicely, either it will make small plants next to them or give you seeds which could be planted.
Hi Geeta,
I haven't seen anyone growing curry leaf plant with a dried seed. I might be wrong, but my mother-in-law says that the seed has to be planted when it is still wet and has the outer fruit covering on it. Once, I brought 3 such fruits from India and planted them. Two of them started sprouting nicely. I now have a big plant.
Bye,
CI

You may be able to get the seeds from www.chilternseeds.co.uk, they have had them in last year, but none in stock at the moment. They told me they have grown plants from these seeds, but they only REMAIN VIABLE FOR A FEW WEEKS!!
Good luck

Hi,
I recently got two curry leaf plants about 12" inches in a height when I got them they were healthy but now they look little drupey and two to three leaves fell off. I put them close the window where the sun came in and stayed about three hours was it because it was cold at night time or what. I also moved the plant two to three times in the day times where the sun came in.Why does my plant look sick because it was to cold by the window or I keep moving the plant to many times or What? Please save my plant give me some good advise I do not want to kill this plant. What is good fertilzer and what other things I can use to keep the plant healthy and grow very fast. Thanks.

Hello Geeta,
When you move the plants repeatedly from one spot to another, they get shocked. If you are living in an area with very cold winter temperatures, you need to bring the plants inside to protect them from freeze. Keep the plants in a room that is bright during day time. When we turn on the heater at home, these plants lose moisture to a great degree and they drop their leaves to reduce water evaporation. You may mist the plants with water several times a day to increase the humidity around them.In cold whether when they are kept inside, no need to fertilize them. Water them when the soil is dry. Touch the soil with your fingers and if it is dry water the plant.
When the temperature warms up in spring, and the danger of the last freeze is over, then you can bring them outside. Start feeding them in spring. I feed my plants with a very mild miracle grow solution, whenever I water them. Miracle Grow 13:13:13 balanced formula. For potted plants the only nutrient they get is what we give them. You need to put just a pinch in ½ gallon water to make a very dilute solution. Over feeding will destroy the plant.
Hope this helps and I wish you good luck.

It is probably transplant shock, not to worry too much, the roots have been disturbed and it will take a while for them to get re-integrated with the soil...
Water just a bit more than usual, give it time...It should respond...

I understand Tulasi seeds and other herbal seeds are available at:
http://www.sandmountainherbs.com/basil_sacred_green.html
Since I do not know the equivalent Englis/botanical name for Curry leaves, I am not able to specifically find out if the seeds are available. You may do some home work to find out.
Thanks
