hey it is easy.....
rava 1 cup
sugar 3/4 cup(may be 1 cup)
Ghee 1 table spoon.
Water 1 cup
Cashew nut 12
Take 1/2 tablespoon of ghee in a pan. When it is hot add rava and fry for few mins(say 5 mins)
Now take 1 cup of water in a kadai, mix sugar and heat it. When it get bubles add rava slowly and mix well.
Stir that until u get kesari. Finally add ghee fired cashew nut(remaining 1/2 table spoon). Mix well then serve.Thats it!

I have another recepie for rava kesari
1 cup semoline
1 cup ghee
3 cups milk
2 cups sugar
saffron, cashew and raisins
heat milk sugar and safron and keep aside
in another nonstic pan fry semolina and ghee( keep a few spoons of ghee aside to fry cashew)
when the ghee and semoline mixture start to bubble and kinda gets fluffy add the hot milk and sugar mixture and keep stirring. Thought the mixture looks watery when it is thoroughly cooked it will be of the right consistency. fry cashew and raisins in the ghee and add to the kesari when it is cooked fully.
Let me know how it turned out.

Always roast the rava in a kadai in low fire,
until the typical smell comes. Then use it for
making kesari. Be carefull while roasting; go on
stirring and in low flame and switch off flame
as soon as you get the smell. else it will blacken.
