This goes with every breakfast...
Can anyone post the different types for chutneys for idli, dosai, chapathi etc

  This is a recepie for Coconut chutney, a very tasty and popular one. Coconut - 1/2 cup, Green chillies - 3, Mustard - 1/4 spoon, Urad dhal - 1/4 spoon, Hing - a pinch, Curry leaves - 4 leaves, Salt - as per taste, Oil - 1 spoon. Grind coconut and green chillies into a fine paste. Heat oil and tamper with mustard, urad dhal, hing and curry leaves and pour over the chutney. Add required amount of salt and mix well. You can garnish with corriander leaves. This goes vry well with idli, dosa, upma etc.

  Don't worry.Here is the simple receipe of coconut with putnaala.For the 1/2 piece of coconut u need to have 4-5 tbls of putnaala.First grind the putannala powder & then grind the coconut with 4 green chillies or acc. to ur taste & mix it with powder .dd 1/2 tsp. of mustard seeds ,1/2 tsp. of jeera, 1tsp of urad dal & add this to the coconut & putnaala mixture.

  For tadka to a chutney u need to add mustard seeds, jeera & urdad dal to 1 tblsp oil.
