A 100 Cheers to Blessey for making a spectacular debut as the MOST promising director to hit the Mallu screen in recent times. The film is a must-see for a 100 reasons- a razor sharp script that cuts through the silver screen with such amazing precision that the impact it leaves is an unbelievable one; cinematography that reaches sublime heights; melodious music that gels with the remarkable story-line; subtle, yet fierce performances from the precisely chosen cast, and above all a thunderous perfromance from Mammootty in a role that cannot even be imagined as being performed by someone else. Accolades are sure to follow for whats perhaps one of his career-best roles... he lives, breathes and rules as Madhavan..and delivers a tight slap across the face of his detractors with a knock-out act that wud just blow them away!

Sorry if this sounded all too excited.. cudnt help it, having watched a GOOD malayalam film (in every sense) after a long, long, long time!! :)

  I happened to see Kazcha. Its really a good film. One of the best in recent times. The director has well encapsulated the story as well as the natural beauty of Kuttanad. The dialogue stands out very natural and of true Kuttandan style. The director has missed out only few scenes that you watch in that countryside. I felt as I am in my native place!
  
  The story is said well, and the shots of “Kutch” are really touching. The songs are good, but I have a feeling that it is more in numbers. Some scenes could have been included to make a touching relationship of the heroine with the child.
  
  The performance of child artists, Mamooty and Manoj K. Jayan are commendable.
  
  Overall it’s a must watch film.

NR… 57 Centres * 4 Shows * 35 Days = 7980 Shows… Kazhaa 28 Centres * 4 Shows * 35 Days = 3920 Shows… So there is a difference of 4060 shows….. 4060 shows means….How may days in 28 centres * 4 shows….??? Kanakkukootan ariyam mallaa allaeeeeee … That is equal to 36.25 days… Pottaeee aaaaa .25 days mammukaykuuuu erikattaeee Baki 36 days So if NR released on 28 centres running 4 shows a Day it would have been 35days +36days = 71 days.. So who is the winner… KANAKKU (FACT) ISHTA PATTELA ENGIL THERI VILIKARUTHAEEEEE…PLEASE ..... This is a Request... Pinnaeee What is the production cost of NR..???? 3.2 Cr.   Haters Haters Haters!! all hating on Kaazhcha. The Movie is still playing in the theater's while None of the onam releases are and plus the movie is in such a demand that they cannot even get it to the US. Funny how a good movie is being hated on just because someone likes mohan lal and some one does not like mammootty. C'mon are you malayali at all first.?? I mean does it really matter who is in it as long as it is a good movie?? Anyway people should be happy that at least the malayalam movies are not gone to a cliche like the hindi and tamil ones have. Just be proud that a malayalee made an Award recommend movie.

  You are absolutely rite, WC. We can be proud & happy that movies like "kaazhcha" are made. I was beginning to get tired after the normal larger than life /unbelievable films and the Dilip histronics.
  After movies like Kuberan, CID Moosa, Vettom, and the present day Mohanlal movies, I thought this must be it. And that the Industry cannot come up with anything better.
  But Blessy has come with "Kaazhcha" and one can be hopeful about this promising Director. He has managed to capture the emotions in the audience. Yes, as u said, they could have included scenes of the heroine and the boy, to show us the bond.
