When we consider face expressions, voice modulation, range etc KamalHassan comes close to Sivaji. Although Kamal is not as good as an actor that Sivaji was, Kamal has some extra talents like dance, script writing etc.
Can Kamal be considered as a successor to Sivaji?

  In My Opinion Very Good Actor Means he should be veteran in areas like ACTION,COMEDY,CHARACTER,DANCER etc. Shivaji very good in Character Role No doubt about this.
  
  But Kamal is (Every one knows) that he is a legend in ACTION(SAKALAKALAVALLAVAN,KAKKICHATTAI,GURU etc),
  COMEDY(MICHAEL,PANJATHANDIRAM,APOORVA SAHODARARHAL etc)
  CHARACTER(16 VAYAIDNILE,GUNA,MAHANADI,MOONDRAM PIRAI etc)
  DANCER(SALANGAI OLI,SATTAM etc).
  
  But Shivaji was not well in Dancing and Action.
  
  So Kamal is better than Sivaji.

  Ever sice i started watching cinema, i liked kamal hassan. He is the best. Sivaji is a legendary actor.I
  admit that, but sivaji acted in a time when the competition was from m.g.r, and he had no problem.
  Further the only medium of entertainment was theatre.
  Take kamal. he knows dancing(disco, bharathanattiyam, kathak..), directing,,acting, and
  apart from that he is a very knowledgable person.
  Please dont compare them both, but if you do, the truth is that, KAMAL IS THE BEST. And its not just the truth. It is a FACT

  Kamal can do all roles like action,sentiment,comedy,serious,emotion etc

  i do feel Kamal is much better than the legend itself. Kamal started at a very tender age he also has given various touch of himself in all the films he is different in all. Not like others. he has is own policy.

  How can you ask such a stupid question? Nobody can ever match Sivaji Ganesan. Sivaji was a born actor. NObody could recognise him including the present generation who are using computers.I request all the cinema lovers before comparing with anybody try to analyse the question. I have seen many hollywood old and new actors. Nobody could act near to our sivaji. Kamal is a small bit of sivaji
