Mammootty has lost most his popular support in the past 3-5 years. But, I guess definitely CBI 3 will be something his fans and appreciators r lookin forward to.

But, itz also a sad realization that neither K.Madhu, nor SN Swamy cud give us something worth a mention in the past few years.

Can he stage a comeback with this one, and regain his lost glory? Comment...

  I saw CBI. I saw nothing so much special about it, except some adipoli background music. Mammookka walking fast holding his hands back, scraching his head sometimes, smiling at mukesh with red lips, making fun of sai kumar ,staring at him sometimes, which all I found exaggerations. Is this what u call a brilliant CBI? Also the first part of the movie is very much dragging, but K. Madhu/S.N. swamy took some care in maintaining the suspense in the second part. Also Jagathy sreekumar's dialogues in the beginning give some idea abt the real culprit, which should hav been avoided. Mala aravindan looked boring. Romantic scenes b/w navya/vineeth r only exaggerations. Sai kumar to a certain extent lived his role, but we hav seen manytimes such kind of performances from Sai itself. The dialogue b/w mammooka & police officer after mammookka thinks for a long time sitting under a tree, is very very Artificial, even boring in b/w...., which some fool has said as one of the best scenes in the movie. Since there were no good movies with good stories/screenplay at the time of release of CBI, & no suspense movies in the recent period, people found it different & going to see the movie.

  did anyone bothered to check the collection details of cbi. it is really funny to see diehard anti-mammootty people are trying to run down the cbi movie. this started from day 1 when the suspense was snet thru the sms. however, the mallus could not be chested thru such cheap tricks. one guy is talking about 4 the people and balettan collections. why are you closing your eyes to the to the fact that cbi movie has broken the collection records of narasimham and meesamadhavan within no time. which is a rare feat considering mammootty's age! aroma mani who denied the offer to produce the movie must be regretting it.

  There is no comparison to a movie like CBI diary kuruppu in malayalam cinema. The actor has placed his image in the mind of energetic youngsters as an intelligent, courageous police officer. No doubt, it is the greatest movie of all times. There is no wonder to the fact that Mammootty is evergreen and dominates malayalam cinema for two generations.

  i saw CBi..I didnt feel the movie was as a good as the hype in fact the movie is a copy of a show known as CSI Miami...Infact the movie is an exact copy except that they added a few more characters in it...But the movie did a good job on presentation...and Mammotty looked so good...He looks even younger than most of the younger actors...Hes in great shape...
