  Basically your info is wrong. Thennali ran 175 days in 2 theaters only. That is for sure. The tamil film industry had declared that Padayapaa is the latest tamil movie which has highest box office collection to date.

  Nathan, I am not saying he won't beat Rajani's records but Rajani can break any actors record any time. I am not a rajani fan or kamal fan, but In tamil nadu he is the only one actor who can make a movie a super duper hit. RAJANI MOVIE = MEGA HIT. But Kamal in other hand is only average.   I also know Rajini is success in Box office most of the Time.But Don't say like He never fails.He is not a GOD.
  
  Most of the dubbed movies of Kamal from Telugu to Tamil were super Duper Hits.
  
  But No rajini movie from Hindi or Telugu to Tamil cross even 20 days.

  (for the Foreign Film Category only) if they continue to do the films in the same manner they do at present.
  
  Rajini kanth does not seem to be in this play.
  But For Kamala Hasan's Fans, I would like to throw some light on the list of latest Kamal Hasan's Movies.
  
  Nayagan.... Story is based on "God Father"
  Nammavar.... Copy of "To Sir With Love"
  Mahanadhi.... Not so impressive to get an Oscar
  Thevar Magan.. Shivaji excelled "Kamal" in acting
  Avvai Shanmugi..Copy of"Mrs Doubtfire"
  Indian..........This movie was really good.
  Hey Ram.........Confusing drama
  Thenali.........Cheap Comedy
  Aalavanthaan....(May be) "Silence of the lambs" ??
  
  Kamal hasan is certainly a good actor but story line should demand an actor (like Kamal Hasan) to extract the skill from him.

  This is very unfair to compare Kamal and Rajani. Both are good in their own ways and fields. That's what we(many non-tamilians) feel. We have seen so many of the Kamal's movies with sub-titles, and rarely any of the rajani's. Could somebody just post me a list of all the Rajani's movies?
