Dear Friends!!

Well after the resounding success of SETHURAMAIYAR CBI, We R here for a Debate!!
Is Sequels is much more safe than the Created Ones? Actually 99% of People are Sure that
Sethuramaiyar CBI would be a hit due to the three reasons

1- The Names of its Predecessors
2- A Suspense Thriller
3- Of Course MAMMOTTY!!

But Look the first Reason. How well can U cope up the Sequel's name to that of the
Predecessor's?This is the first QUESTION asked by the Director and the Writer!!
Frankly Speaking CBI 3 wasn't as thrilling as CBI 1 or CBI 2!
If it was CBI 3 released FIRST, then I would have told CBI 3 is a great thriller.But
due the names of Oru CBI Dairy Kuruppu & Jagratha , I can say its an OK Movie!!

But Look on the Bright side.Actually the names of the Previous Movies will help in
its Initial Collection.So the makers have to just worry about the script!
In My Memory, I dont Remember any Movie Flopped which was a sequel!!
Here are a few ones,

Aavanazhi - Inspector Balram
Naadodikaatu - Pattanapravesham - Akkareakkareakkare (Average Hit)
Kireedom - Chenkol
Devasuram - Ravanaprabhu
Ramji Rav Speaking - Manaarmathai Speaking
Oru CBI Dairy Kuruppu - Jagratha (Average Hit) - Sethuramaiyar CBI

See Only Pattanapravesham was the only movie to become a bigger hit than its Predecessor
Naadodikaatu.Why?Because it had a brilliant Script!Akkareakkareakkare was an Average hit
because it was Big Budget movie!But If it was released Now,It would have broken the records
of Narasimham,Meeshamadhavan & Thenkashipatanam.
But remaining all have lesser collection & Fame comparing to its Predecessors!!

Except Chenkol, Jagratha, Akkareakkareakkare, Pattanapravesham,Other movies didn't have a
Strong script at all.All were relied on the Predecessor's Names.

Now the Debate is Whether "Other than Initial Collection,How much can Sequels help in the
Film Industry at This Position"..

By the Way Look out 4 more sequels

Bharath Chandran IPS (Renji Panicker's Ist Directional Venture and Suresh Gopi)
sequel to Commisioner

Unnamed Movie (I V Sasi - Damodaran - Mammotty in
which Mammotty features both Taradas of Athirathram and Inspector Balram)

& Lal-Srini-Sathyan (This is not Confirmed,BUT THE MOST EXPECTED ONE of all the
Sequels in Malayalam Film Industry) Guess It's Predecessors!

  he can still afford to look energetic.
  
  mohan lal looks bloated and has a silly hairstyle.

  Heard that CBI-3 is becoming megahit and form every source we can conclude tht it will be a bigger hit than CBI-1...
  I cant join with your opinion tht Akkare akkare akkare is an average hit.. It was a genuine flop of Priyadarshan-Mohanlal team.. And Chenkol was also not a successful film..

  Fans of mohanlal(a famous PICKLE SELLER)in this forum has been arrested for MATCH FIXING.They tried
  to give $1000 for "SHANI","SANGEET" and "AAADHIL" for making their postings in favour of mohanlal.
  SUPREME COURT OF INDIA has ordered a 6 years IMPRISONMENT for the culprits 'thomas','jom' and 'v'.
  But MEGA STAR PADMASREE MAMOOTY has appeared in the court for them and hence thomas,jom and v
  got escaped from imprisonment but they have to pay $1000 each.Actually thomas,jom and v went to
  mohanlal's house and they asked him to appear on behalf of them in the court.But pickle seller mohanlal

  murder case.
