guys i had luck to hear the songs from these much hyped onam movies...thandavam has 6 songs ...5 songs has music by m.g sreekumar and one has music by perbaboor reveendranath..and tht song is a semi-classical is the best in the audio...'kombedu kuyaledu ' music by mgs is a adipoli fast number ...and its a highlight too...

ki ethum doorathu has lovely numbers like aniyathiprave...music by ousepachan...the song 'priyasaghi' sung by yesudas is familiar songs but it goes high and low a lot of times...and its really nice to hear ..and another good one is 'poove poove 'sung by sujatha and fahad a melody ...and an adipoli number is sung by mgs and chorus 'asalasali ' the first stanzas tune is very familiar bec i think it has taken from an old tamil song ....but the songs are worth

and abt garamaphone ..its abt real music in real soung...people who like commercial music from vidyasagar maybe a kind of disappointed with these songs ..but it might fit the movie a lot ..the fast and melidious song of the movie is .'ninakkum' sung by yesudas and sujatha ....other song are really slow and classical ...its a different album from vidyasagar...i got disappointed with this album ..but i think it fits the movie bec it talks abt music ..and i think couple of songs i heard..i think its really is a sad movie ...but vidyasagar keeping pace with good intreluds ..

if u like some fast numbers and want to hear a good semi-classical from m.g sreekumar music by perbabboor reveendranadth ..thandavam is good...if u like lovely numebrs with lovely songs like aniyathiprave...ki ethum doorathu is good ...if u want to listen to classical-contemporary-popular music u could buy gramaphone ...

  no the music is by new crews ...benni-kannan duo ..they worked under berni-ignesious and mohan sitara ....young guys are singing in nkrajakumaran..and they are doing the music for k-madhu mohan lal movie....
  
  ya one song for yesudas thats the worst song of the movie ....and one song is good thats a semi classical 'himagiri ' sung by sreekumar....other songs music is by mg sreekumar .... fast songs and thallipoli songs ...my first impression was correct when i read the review of the movie thandavam ..the songs from m.g sreekumar has old flavor man .. i mean we heard tht songs ...even the music has stolen from somewhere ....one song 'kombedu kuyaldu ' ..sp venkidesh -mohan lal old movies music has been added with his music ...and sify said the songs have been stolen from tamil hits...one song pottu thottu kiliye has the same beat as one song from tamil movie mudhalavan

  i think nkrajakumaran's songs might be pretty good because most of the music directors that rajasenan brings in are good. plus, they worked under mohan sithara like u said.

  jibi-even tho u think the music for gramaphone wasnt the best, i think it will still do good...reviews are sayin that the music from that movie will bring new meaning to music...classical/hindustani music lovers will like it...music doenst do everything for a movie...take kamal's mekhamalhar...i didnt like the music very much...but i thought the movie was really gr8...kamal knows how to create a beautiful love story w/ emotions...and i think thats what gramaphone will be too...i saw in a pic dileep and navya w/ classical dancing uniforms-so is there going to be classical dancing?...
  and kayethum dooratha...wow...the music seems beautiful just from the titles..is the song "priyasaghi" like "oh priye"?...i will definitely get the audio

  ya i agree abt tht ...but it i got mistaked..i read every previews abt it..and they said it a musical love story ....so i was hoping to get songs like krishnagudi..but garamaphones music was a bit different...they went to deep in to raagas ...hindustani music and carnatic music mixed songs....but couple of songs from yesudas is good and 1 song from jayachandran is good also ...

  Vidyasagar is the best music director in south india now. i would like to call him Sangeethathinte Devadoothan. "THE HOLY MESSENGER OF MUSIC." last year around this time there were lotz of people criticising him bcos Ravanaprabhu and Thenkashipattanam bySuresh Peters were the hits.   jibi and djb, how would u rate gramaphone's music from 1 to 10? give me an honest answer, i just wanna know. i see that both of yall are hard-core vidyasagar fans. i dont like suresh peters anymore, he's not trying anything new, he's always doing the same thing over and over. my favorite music director is mohan sithara and then, vidyasagar.

  thats hard frizzy i mean ..it depends on how is ur music taste ..the people who depends on fast songs will not like it....but who likes classic music will love it...i mean background scores of the songs are wonderful...i don't know how to rate it..but if u listen to it couple of times ..u'll like it ...and one of my friend who is very close to vidyasagar told me tht they done like tht bec of the story ...the songs are pretty good....especially those people who says tht yesudas don't get good songs should listen to gramaphone ....

  thts true djb....the rights gain for meesha has given a big lift to satyam audios ..bec they were attempting to close down ...bec praja,one man show and kannaki has given huge losses to satyam audios ....now meesha is selling like hot cakes ...

  i wasnt counting on gramaphone to have fast songs. but i love melodies (esp those from a r rahman, vidyasagar and mohan sithara). so does gramaphone have more normal melodious songs or hindustani music? i'm going to get meesha madhavan's audio soon, my cousin told me that itz in the store...

  i got meesha madhavan's audio today! ITZ EXCELLENT! kore naalayittu oru nalla audio aanu meesha madhavantethu. my favorite song is "ente ellam ellam", all of the songs are excellent. itz nice to hear such beautiful songs once again after ISHTAM. i cant tell u how much i love it! the song named "meeshakaaran" has funny lyrics too. the only thing was that "penne penne" reminded me a lot of "yaaro" from a.r. rahman's aleypaayuthe. but i think it just uses the same style and instruments, the tune is pretty different.

  it goes "meesha kaaran madhavanu dhosha thinnaan aasha, dhosha thinnaan kaashinaay thappinokki keesha".."haayi haayi"...ente ellam ellam alle is a very cute song, my favorite. penne penne is a good song too. karimizhi is my second favorite song. the theme and chingamaasam are my third favorites...therez also another song that i really liked, it was sung by sree ram and anuradha sree ram..it was pretty good..i loved all of the songs. meesha madhavan's music is a masterpiece from vidyasagar. people who know music would love meesha madhavan's songs.

  Sri PJ is the best singer in india.There were many including yesudas who imitated him,but were completely a failure.

  vidyasagar is the present best music director in malayalam films.I didn't like MohanSithara because his songs are like Tribal songs.for example the song "Rakshasi..." in nammal.I am
