The Comedians in malayalam Cinema are considered as the best because of their good sense of humuor .Even superstars like Mohan Lal does well in comedy roles ..Others like Kamal Hassan has also done lot of comedy stuffs in Malayalam ...

  And above the Malayalees see Tamil Movies more than Tamilians seeing Malayalam movies.So we can have a good view abt Ur movies more than U guys have abt ours.
  
  If a Tamil movie is remade to Malayalam,It would be a sure flop.In contrast Remade Malayalam movies can be hit.
  
  Atleast the actors mentioned by U have acted in Tamil movies by the top directors
  
  Lal(Mani Rathnam),Mammotty(Mani),K Mani(Charan)etc
  We have never seen any of Urs.Even Ur present Superstar,Vikram is a Mallu Product (He even accepted it by saying that his dream is to act in Malayalam movies which helped him the most to save his career)

  U mean mallu comedy is not vulgar? Good joke, maan.Tamil hearoes do not act in mallu films because they are paid peanuts. Very few tamil films remade from mallu films have been hits.U guys will appreciate only vulgar jokes in tamil films, because U understand them. U cannot understand good healthy tamil film humour which is there iun abundance.
  All mallus in this column say that Jagathi is the best mallu comedian. That shows your standard.

  OUR "Chronic Bachelor" was remade to Tamil with a Flopstar (at present) as a hero and went on to be
  a hit.(Engal Anna).It became a bigger hit than Veerumandi.What abt Perazhagan?
  
  Then tell me Ur best comedian.Everyone in South knows that Jagathi is much much better ACTOR than Ur Senthil,Goundemani,Janakaraj & Vivek.These Guys

  hey lokesh sundara travels,peralagan,engal anna,friends are all remakes of malayalam films.
  Senthil and goundamani are good no doubt.But don't criticize malayalam comedy because u have to know the language to understand the comedy.

  Engal anna is a bigger hit than virumandi. That is news to all of us.Who is that "everyone" who knows that jagathi is better than tamil comedians. Pl. enlighten. For your info, janakaraj has done serious roles in films like "Naan pudicha mapillai".
  
  Tamilians are easily way ahead of others in terms of comedy skills & talents. Mallu comedy comes nowhere in comparison. As for jagathi doing serious roles, pl. wait, I can't stop laughing.

  When there is so much talent avl. in tamil films, why should we go over to mallu films? It is you guys who come here seeking greeener pastures. I can give U a list of technicians from tamil who are the top in the indian film scene - P.C.Sriram, Thottha tharani, Jeeva etc.,
  Coming to vikram's case. He is a mallu who did mallu films only because he had no market in tamil films. The moment he got tamil film offers, he has not done any mallu film.
  It is not just the cine field. You name it & we tamilians are THE VERY BEST. You mallus should be honoured that U are atleast being compared with us.

  Have U heard someone called Bharathan.He was the one to win National Award 4 Best Director 4 the film Thevar Makhan.
  
  Have U heard Sethumadhavan.Kamalhasan Told that If he didn't get a chance to work with him in "Kanyakumari",He wouldn't have been noticed.
  
  BTW Sreekar Prasad belongs to Palakkad like Hariharan,Unnikrishnan (Singers).A R Rahman is from Kerala too (But U guys made him big,So We can't take the credit)

  Kerala humor is too clever, smart-ass and crude mostly YET very enjoyable. Tamil humor is creative, spontaneous, sarcastic, simple and extremely diverse. I am a Mallu and I find Tamil humor just amazing more than mallu and the vast number of personalities that have been comedians in Tamil is also great. Can u find a Thengai Or Nagesh or Cho or Venniraadai in Malayalam. I have great appreciation of Jagathi, however Bahadur, Bhasi, Kunjan were classic acts.
