Mallu movies are the best in India I would say.
They have the best stories and screenplays. On top of them the greatest actors of all times.
( Mammootty, Mohanlal, Murali,Nedumudi Venu, Thilakan etc.). And also some great directors
like Sibi Malayil, Jayaraj,Fazil,Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Padmarajan, Bharathan, Shaji.N.karun etc. I've seen lot of their movies.

Are there websites which has a list of malayalam movies and also let me know of some mallu movie websites (malayalam fonts or english)

  back 2 that shakeela..thing.......(sorry peeps)...but i think that christina...should think again cos that *bleep* shakeela's mother tongue is TAMIL!!!..and she was just born and bbought up in kerala......and look @ her now.she left malayalam and gone 2 tamil.....so gud ridance!!!!!!!!

  1.MELODY:Jayachandran is melody,i am ashamed of stating about such a great person that "JAYACHANDRAN IS
  HAVING MELODY ALSO".But yesudas now and then had it.
  2.RANGE:Jayachandran's 90% songs had this characteristic.Let me point out some songs which have some less range
  Ninpadangalil
  Nunakkuzhikavilil
  Bhoolokarambhayute
  Yesudas's songs have range but equally there are songs which don't have range.It is like 2 faces of a coin
  3.SPEED:There is no speed in yesudas's songs.Noone can show a speedy song sung by him.He tried to sing sometimes

  pavataprayathil
  which have not succeeded since it resembles a conversation.
  Jayachandran is superb in speed.
  Take for eg the song
  pa pa pa pa pa nisa manohari
  ma ma ma ma ma vikaramanjari devasundari
  To pronounce it properly and sing it speedily yesudas is not at all perfect.Jayachandran was fully perfect.
  4.VIBRATIONS:Vibrations are made by both singers.Both are equally good in it.Jayachandran's
  vibrations in prayam nammil was beautiful.
  5.DEPTH:Jayachandran has much depth than yesudas.In depth yesudas is nil in front of jayachandran.Even in a simple
  padam like karivarivandukal kurunirakal in DEVARAGAM take the part "kaikalo-o-o-
  jalapushpavalayangalo-o-o-o-o"
  He has the depth there.In all songs this is coming into picture.As Ajith show above,yesudas was unable to maintain raaga
  
  at high pitches is About this aspect.
  6.SOFTNESS:Even now when he is not getting chances as yesudas he maintains the softness like the song
  Ariyathe ariyathe-e in RAVANAPRABHU.But Jayachandran is not the master of this it is Hariharan.But Yesudas is
  nothing in this,he is always noty soft.But some songs like Kattile pazhmulam thandil ghe approached it.Jayachandran and
  
  Hariharan are 2 good in it.
  7.VERSATILITY:Altogether more versatile is Jayachandran but due to luck yesudas was more famous.It does not mean
  that jayachandran is less versatile.He was not recognised as he should be.
  If Jayachandran was given more chances he would have shown up the world.But when politics or other pressure comes
  against a singer what the most versatile singer can do?
  That is why i consider him as most versatile.If he should have remained there in bollywood,he would have been famous
  like his students.

  surprised? don't be, I surf the net all the time. I am currently in Florida. My dad has a veera bhadabhoosha nityasaga concert here. I just want to say that jayachen uncle is a very talented singer. I agree, but please don't insult my father for it. I'm not gonna say one's better, but I think you should know that My dad and danny uncle, jayachen uncle's brother are best friends. In fact it was my dad who introduced jayachen uncle to my other uncle (siby uncle) who gave jayachandran his first chance to sing in a movie. so you see, if it weren't for my dad, jayachen uncle wouldn't have ever sang in a movie. Think about this before you insult him. Also, my dad tried to retire in 1997, 2000, and 2002. It was Jayachen uncle, and Sujaji (sujatha) who told him to stay, along with mahesh uncle(mahesh choudari), Mohan uncle (mohan sithara), and gala bharanesh. so please don't insult him. thank him for the joy and happiness he has brought to his many fans.   I tried to listen almost all malayalam songs.According to me,unfortunately I am impressed by very few Jayachandran songs.Yesudas is much better than Jayachandran.Jayachandran may be a classy singer but he is not very popular.I think,songs like Ariyathe...anyone can make it hit.I never heard songs like Pramadavanam,Thenumvayambum,Eazhuswarangalum etc.from Jeyachandran.You cant compare Jeyachandran and Yesudas.

  nammal entinaa aalukale compare cheyunathu ??? jayachandranu angerude oru style undu. ariyathe is an excellent song rendred most beautifully...if KJ had sung it it would still have been good but would have been very different. a.d KJ has sung hindi, mallu and lots more songs soo well. listen to his hindi songs his voice is excellent but the rendition has a mallu touch to it. KJ is KJ and PJ is PJ. lets hope we get to hear more beautiful songs from both...

  please dont bring in a disgrace by comparing jayachandran and yesudas.........there is no way u can compare anyone with kj.....look at the parallel achievement he has had in classical and commmercial cinema...its not done by any others in india......so appreciate it..i am just listening to the song "paaduvan marannu poyi" and i was just thinking if pj had sung it .,.,i dont know what it would have turned out to be.....and as an individual kj is somewhere else than p.j as i know p.j from up close.....so dont ever brag abt that...so once again to p.j fans .......p.j is very good but u just cant even compare him with kj....he doesnt deserve it.........
