Kamal is now the unsung hero (From all directors) in the Film Industry.But even though we started to notice him as a director from his Ulladakkam (even though he got many successful movies behind),He was considered just one of the directors in the Industry.People started to notice him when he stared to attract crowd with
movies of different theme or cast.Be it FRESH or EXPERIENCED,90% of his movies have been box office success.He is now the most dependable director in the Industry even though
its facing a crisis.It will be a wonder if a person say "NO" to his films (If he don't have date problems).
A KAMAL FILMOGRAPHY
MIZHINEERPOOKAL-His Debut movie.But this didn't create any impact.Its mainly because people started to avoid Lal in negative roles.
Its a very different version of "As U ROW,So Shall U REAP" stylemovies.Its a feel good movie.But a FLOP!! Verdict 4/10 (FLOP)
UNNIKALE ORU KADHA PARAYAAM-His first success at the box office.Produced by his first hero Lal,This movie is one of his three
sentimental favs.The performance of Lal is well appreciated and The Title song won Das many awards.Verdict 7/10 (SUPER HIT)
KAKOTHIKAAVILE APPOPANTHAADIKAL-His third fav after his debut movie,UOKP.Really a beautiful movie.It was theme which no director in his
early days would dare to choose mainly because of the backgroud,the cast etc etc.But his gamble paid off and with the help of the song Kannam Thumpi..,Shoe-String Budget,The movie became
a hit.Another Noticable Point is Revathi's performance.Vedict 7.5/10 (HIT)
PRADESHIKA VAARTHAKAL-COMEDY,COMEDY,COMEDY.Really a good choice to go and have a relaxation.Nothing to worry,Nothing to be tensed off.A beautiful movie with a village in backdrop.From Comedy's point of view 9/10 otherwise 8/10.(HIT)
ORAKAPURATHU-This movie is not known well to many.But its shoe string budget,Humour,Mohanlal and A TREASURE HUNT THEME helped
this movie to pass the "HIT" Mark.Movie is just a feel good movie.At some frames,we feel its inspired from some English movie.In other ways also U might feel it like an Eng movie
since value of relations and sentiments is NIL.
I thinks its the first story of Renjith which Lal acted later proving to be a handy combination.Verdict 5/10 (HIT)
PERUVANAPOORATHE VISHESHANGAL-SAME AS THE ABOVE RATINGS OF"PRADESHIKA VAARTHAKAL".Verdict 8/10 (SUPER HIT)
PAVAM PAVAM RAAJAKUMARAN-When I went to see Pranayavarnangal,I felt like I have seen this theme before.Then when I saw PPR's name somewhere,Then I realised that.Its a hilarious
version of Pranayavarnangal's theme.VERDICT 9/10(HIT)
VISHNULOKHAM-His first CRAP.The movie was based on "Nadodis".But the movie didn't come well.Nothing much to tell except good songs by Raveendran.Verdict 1.5/10 (I THINK ITS FLOP!!)
THOOVAL SPARSHAM-Inspired from "Three Men and a Baby",The movie also belongs to a feel good.Verdict 7/10 (???)
ULLADAKKAM-This movie which gave him the NAME and FAME he deserved.A movie which well balanced for both commercial success and critical success.This movie had everything to make bothpoles happy.Great cast and Performance,Good script,Good songs etc etc which gave KAMAL a position in the industry.My fav too.Verdict 9.5/10 (SUPER HIT)
ENNOTISHTAM KOODAMO-"Poor Man falls in Love with a Rich gal"How many times we saw this type of movies.But Kamal added a twist too which made it different.The Rich gal plays a prank on the Poor by acting as his lady love but later she also realises that she is in love with him.
Verdict 4.5/10 (???)
AAYUSHKAALAM-Inspired from "GHOST",This movie is also in the feel good category.The climax was touching and Sreenivasan reciting a poem is hilarious.Verdict 5.5/10

GAZAL-Actually I just saw "BITS & PIECES" of this movie.All I know is its a love story which was hampered by a landlord or "Hajiar" with a MUSLIM BACKGROUD.The movie did have good music but the movie was one of his biggest failures in the box office. Verdict 2/10 (FLOP)
BHOOMIGEETHAM-Same as the above.I didn't see the movie completely.Kamal says this the movie which he regrets.Movie was based on the loopholes of Law system but it turned out be the same old action movie.Verdict 1/10 (FLOP)
CHAMPAKULAM THACHAN-There is nothing special about this movie.It reminds U an old movie called "Saayamsandhya".But Saayamsandhya flopped and C thachan became a surprise hit.Its mainly because of Sreenivasan's script,Budget,
Kamal and brilliant songs by Raveendran. Verdict 4/10(HIT)
MAZHAYETHUM MUNPE-Brilliant!!This movie is my fav too.Mammotty was excellent and the script was brilliant.This movie had everything like Ulladakkam.So it was also a Big Hit.Verdict 9.5/10 (Super Hit)
AZHAKIYA RAVANAN-A movie with some unusual features.I should accept that I didn't like this movie much.Mammotty was excellent,Music was cool but the movie was bit... (I can't just say).Anyway I will give it 6.5/10 (???)
EE PUZHAYUM KADANNU-I loved this movie.Very touching.This movie fetched Manju her first State award.The movie also had brilliant songs like KAMAL'S all movies.Verdict 7.5/10 (I THINK ITS A HIT)
KAIKUDANNA NILAVU-I don't think many of them knows
that this movie is by Kamal and Scripted by Renjith.Thats enough to say that this movie went completely unnoticed.Must Not forget to say that it had brilliant climax.Verdict 4/10 (FLOP)
AYAAL KADHAEZHUTHUKAYAANU-I can't say much abt this movie.Some feels,Its a crap.Some says its nice movie.But few says,It is KAMAL'S WORST (Thanks to first half).
But the movie became hit because of Lal-Sreeni Combi,Sreeni's script,Kamal,Raveendran-Kaithapram-Das Team.It had everything on the paper to be a Super hit but the movie didn't reach upto the expectations of people.So it just passed HIT mark.Verdict 4/10 (HIT)
NIRAM-A movie which started a new trend.A love story with a CAMPUS on background.It attracted many youngsters and gave Boban a plank to hold on for his sinking career in the industry.Movie had brilliant songs and this movie made KAMAL the most dependable director in the industry.
Catchy songs.But I hated this movie. My VERDICT 2/10 (HIT)
MADHURANOMBARAKAATU-His biggest FLOP.But a brilliant movie.U will have a poetic feel while watching this movie.Brilliant songs,good performance,good script but nothing wasn't able to help this movie at the bow-office.VERDICT 7/10 (FLOP)
MEGHAMALHAR-A surprise Hit,mainly because of PRAJA,Budget,KAMAL.I won't this movie was a brilliant one but I can't say it only belongs to feel good category.VERDICT 5/10 (HIT)
NAMMAL-A movie which succeeded only because of KAMAL'S name and "RAKSHASI"!!Not a great movie at all but better than NIRAM.Verdict 3/10 (HIT)
GRAMAPHONE-This movie had everything to be a hit.Dilip's consistency,KAMAL,Music.But Its delayed release,bad script and DILIP's two movies at a time made it a box office disaster.Verdict 3.5/10 (FLOP)
SWAPNAKOODU-Movie which reintroduced the trend of shooting songs in forgein countries.But the movie I hated the most.Two catchy songs,KAMAL's name helped this movie to retieve its collection.A bad script (which was trying to imitate bollywood movies),average performances etc etc,But movie became a hit.VERDICT 0.5/10 (HIT)
MANJUPOLEYORU PENNKUTTY- Seeing his last three movies,I didn't expect much from this movie.Another movie with newcomers,two catchy songs,songs picturised in Paris thats all.But this movie proved me wrong.A well made movie.Since I went with a few expectations,I really liked this movie.A good script,good
performances.But the surprising part is the music.I was one of those people who buy KAMAL'S movie's songs before hearing it.But here the music was below average.Yet its doesn't affect the
movie much.Verdict 8/10. (JUST RELEASED)
