If you look at the hindi movies....it is filthy. The clothes they were..way they dance...you know what I mean.

Are they trying to be like english actors.

Before hindi actors didn't kiss on the lips now they're doin that, which isn't too bad it's just a kiss.

but they're making movies with nasty subject. I expect that from hollywood but..not india

When I wacth a hindi film I wacth it with my family, and I don't wanna see people making love when my parents are right there sitting beside me

  I don't understand one thing. The country which gave this world the book on the most beautiful thing(SEX) KAMASUTRA, its own people refrain or are shy to even mention this word or are pretty uncomfortable watching it on screen in Hindi movies whereas they (I don't know about u) would watch English movies showing much more than what they do in Hindi movies quite easily. This I fail to understand. If u see some old Black & white Hindi movies, then what they depict today is very tame in comparison. As for watching these scenes with the family I know can be very embarassing if the elders themselves are embarassed with the 3 letter word. In my opinion if the scene is shot sensuously it should be enjoyed. And don't try telling me that you or no one else doesn't enjoy watching it.

  I don't know about you man - but I DON'T enjoy watching it. I understand what you were trying to say Sharmini, Indian films are suppose to be films that can be enjoyed by all at the same time. The other thing is that "Bollywood" characters try to imitate Hollywood but they never get it right and the main reason is that we are from two different hemispheres, people are different. Hollywood films might show sexual scenes - sometimes it fits in with the movie and many times it doesn't - Indian films on the other hand cannot bring out these scenes in the same manner because the audience and other members of the film industry will react negatively. But I have to say that I have never even seen a kiss in Indian films but maybe this is because I haven't seen any of the new Hindi films, Malayalum films suit me better.

  Exactly. Indian films are not supposed to be filthy. But in reality it is. Now models are taking over the hindi film industry. Models like John Abraham who is half keralite and half parsi. He is filthy and thinks he is a hollywood star. what a joker.

  I think MOST Bollywood films are absolutely pathetic. I mean just look at them, they are TRYING to be american, most of them are totally unrealistic, most of them all have the same storyline of love and all the characters just happen to be amazingly rich in huge houses with is sheer stupidness. One more other thing, I dont really mid if there is a song every 15 minutes but why are most of the songs trying to sound western? In my personal views Bollywood films make fools out of themselves, trying to portray themselves as a rich western country. Why the hell are crap films like these all trying to act english, they are loosing their culture and to some the american and british asians, their dignity. I am not saying all Bollywood films are like this, their are some which I really enjoyed such as Lagaan. This film is unique showing the indian culture in the positive way and also some comedy. There should be more films such as these. Finally there is one aspect of Bollywood pisses me off. ALL bollywood films are about love. Why not for once can indian diretors be original like Hollywood and create films with a totally different storyline, a plot that actually has meaning and at the same time is exciting.
  I am an american indian myself and like it or not what I say it is unforunately true. I hope most dumbass indian directors will listen to my advice and no try and be western but create films that are realistic.

  in the past i loved hollywood and hated bollywood very much but then i began to watch indian movies and i started to love it but know i love it very very much and i hate hollywood very very much.
  because i hate the movies that do sexual scenes in order to attract watchers.
  i know that lately there are new uglu indian movies to actors like john and vivek and pibasha and others. those movies i never watch them
  i watch movies to shah rukh khan , salman khan , fardeen khan , saif ali khan , anil kapoor , hrithik roshan and ajay devegan and some other actors that i really love.
  there are some new actors and actresses they are good like bhomika....
  but the others camte to destroy the beautiful name of bollywood.
