  take this.madhuri dixit is one of the greatest actresses in indian cinema.and hey arvind,do you know anything about films?if you are saying that madhuri is a bad actress then you don't know anything about indian cinema.which actress has been as successful as madhuri without even getting asingle worthwhile role.she has survived un the industry for the past 17 years only because of her talent.and the conclusion is,there are only 2 actresses in hindi cinema who know the art of acting.one is madhuri and the other one is tabu.

  I saw this movie! And some torture it was!
  
  (From what I could make out of it) the movie has Madhuri acting out the life of an Indian woman in three distinct periods -> ancient, medieval and early 20th Century. MF supposedly uses a technique called representationism in the movie. Thus, for example it shows ancient poet Kalidasa, in the process of writing his masterpiece Shakuntalam. When he gets what is known as 'poetic inspiration', it is 'represented' by a small girl running out of his house into the outside world(I guess this 'represents' the concept of an idea inspired out by the poet ;))
  
  And that's all I could understand out of the whole movie. Many things were not just puzzling, but downright ridiculous.Like, Kalidasa riding a bicycle!(lol) And then a women supposedly from the medieval period uttering the word 'cockroach'!!
  
  The background music(slow, Tabla I guess) was good, but it kept on running the whole period of the movie. Madhuri's dance was good, by the way.
