Distributors Share

Long time i wanted to know this..I have heard these terms distributors share..theatres share..gross profit..net share..theatres share etc..can someone explain me if they find time what these means in movie business..is there a standard percentage in these shares or it varies from movie to movie?

2 months ago nana mag said the deal is 1st week 70(producer)-30(cinema), 2nd week 60-40 3rd week 50-50. sometimes the producers try and make deals to get better rates or even if its an unsold film better rates for the cinema. most times many producers borrow money in advance from the cinemas to carry on making the film and has to make better deals etc... for the cinema. its complicated and always create problems. i will the article again and come back. its the same in hollywood and europe...probably all over.

thanks raju..but what about the distributor share?u siad the producer which include the distributer+producer share right?how is that calculated btwn them?
