Before two or three decades Jayan was the favorite of Mallus. He was imitated by the youngsters of his time especially in dressing and hair stile. But for the new generation he is the symbol idiocy.
My point is will Mohan Lal also have a same future like Jayan. His "Money Dinesha" and "Sawari Girigiri" will rejuvenate again in another meaning?

  Jayaseelan, I know there's no point in arguing with you when it comes to Mohanlal. But still, the comparison was a little too much. Jayan, even if he was loved by the youngsters of the age, was never considered a good actor. I am really flummoxed by your vision. A vision, which goes so blind that it even facilitates a comparison with an actor, who at the most was a muscle-flexing matinee idol, to an actor who has time and again proved his versatality and has won coveted honours and awards. And yeah, no points for guessing why you didn't think of Mammootty, instead of Lal, when you framed this topic. For me, Lal would be remembered by the posterity as someone who redefined the very grammar of acting in Malayalam movies. On the lines of, say, Satyan. If there emerges a potential Jayan in the future, I think it would be Suresh Gopi, 'coz his mannerisms and on-screen machismo, more than genuine talent, catapulted him to his brief stint as a superstar.   No need for cross check. Jayaseelan and me are not same.
  I am not comparing here the talents of Jayan and Lal but only about the perception of generations after their era.
  I opted Lal instead of others because he is the one using more abnormal dialogs like "Monay Dinesha" "Sawari girigiri" etc. And he is the one doing more roles like super man other than others. I mean making fight with more people etc. Above all his whole physic& nature, it includes his shape, walking stile, dialogs presentation etc.
  He has talent but it has been being abused than utilized.
  I do agree Suresh Gopi & Mammooty may also have this problem but I think it will be comparatively less than Lal.
  I am sure those who make a comprehensive study about movies will categorize him with best actors. But about others the ordinary youngsters... that is my question? Because his talents have been used comparatively little films only.
