We listened to an R.Sudharsanam classic last week and today we will listen to a classic composed by his brother R.Govardhanam. I believe they are brothers. This song was discussed in VJ Songs thread two years ago. I am rewriting some of the lines from it below.

A woman sings about her love for a man from another caste (or religion). The lyricist describes it so beautifully throughout the song.

Such beautiful lines of poetry, and a smoothly flowing composition. A voice that brings everything together and carries the whole song on its expressive shoulders... VJ's trademark stresses at the right places, and the right expressions at the right words bring the listener one with the song.

Thanks to sk for sending this lovely song. Another good song from the same film is "anbu thalaivan kAladi chuvattil", a TMS-VJ duet.

One of the few duets with SJ and GA. I discovered this song a few months ago. I have never heard it before. Nor have I heard about the film. The song sounds very similar to the GA-VJ duet "viziyE nalamA".

This song substitutes a nEyar(madhu) viruppam.
