சென்னை, மார்ச் 20: பிரபல நாடக மற்றும் திரைப்படக் கலைஞர் மறைந்த எஸ்.வி.சகஸ்ரநாமத்தின் சகோதரி எஸ்.வி.கிருஷ்ணம்மாள் (92) வியாழக்கிழமை சென்னையில் இயற்கை எய்தினார். "சேவா ஸ்டேஜ்' என்ற பெயரில் நூற்றுக்கணக்கான சமூக விழிப்புணர்வு நாடகங்களை அரங்கேற்றிய எஸ்.வி.சகஸ்ரநாமம் "பராசக்தி', "வாழ்க்கை', "நல்லதம்பி', "பைத்தியக்காரன்' உள்பட ஏராளமான திரைப்படங்களிலும் நடித்தவர். அவருடைய கலைப்பணிக்கு உற்ற துணையாக இருந்தவர் எஸ்.வி.கிருஷ்ணம்மாள்.

மறைந்த கிருஷ்ணம்மாளுக்கு கவிஞர் வைத்தீஸ்வரன் என்ற மகனும் தைலம்மாள் என்ற மகளும் உள்ளனர். அவருடைய மறைவுக்கு எழுத்தாளர்கள் அசோகமித்திரன், இந்திரா பார்த்தசாரதி, சச்சிதானந்தம், கூத்துப்பட்டறை நா.முத்துசாமி உள்ளிட்ட ஏராளமான இலக்கியவாதிகள் நேரில் வந்து அஞ்சலி செலுத்தினர்.

Chennai: Well known producer and Tamil actor K Balajee died here on Saturday evening after prolonged illness. He was 74.
Balajee, father-in-law of famous Malayalam actor Mohanlal, was admitted to Apollo Hospital last month for kidney failure. He is survived by a son and two daughters.
He has acted in over 150 films and have also produced Tamil films under Sujatha Cine Arts, most of his films were produced with the Late actor Shivaji Ganesan. Before, producing films, he had acted in various Tamil films as villain and one remarkable film was that he did the villain role in Pattanathil Bootham starring with Jai Shankar. Balaji was sometime ill and from his ill-bed he gave interview to the Jaya TV Channel for five days. Then he appealed to all the film actors to reduce their salaries, so that the film producers could not burn heavily their fingers. In the interveiw, he also narrated how a film could be made, once the adjustment of the leading artistes stop demanding a separate caravan for them. Now the late actor's son Suresh Balaji is in the production and direction. This he learnt by working with his father whenever he produced films.

It was Balaji who remade the Hindi film Qurbani into Tamil as Viduthalai with Shivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth and Kannada idol Vishnuvardhan. Kamal who was to do a role, did not want to join in that film following which there was a misunderstanding arose between Balaji and Kamal Hassan.
AIADMK leader and former Chief Minister and also former actress Jayalalithaa and Super Star Rajinikanth visited the late actor's house and offered their condolences to the members of the beraved. On Sunday Balaji's body was taken to Besant Nagar crematorium with hundreds of film fraternities and other relatives participating in it.

சின்னத் திரை நடிகர் சங்கத் தலைவராக இருந்து வந்த நடிகர் எஸ்.என்.வசந்த் மாரடைப்பால் மரணமடைந்தார்.

மெல்லப் பேசுங்கள் என்ற படத்தின் மூலம் நடிகரானவர் வசந்த். இதே படத்தின் மூலம்தான் பானுப்பிரியாவும் நடிகையாக அறிமுகமானார்.

பெரிய திரையில் சில படங்களில் நடித்துள்ள வசந்த் பின்னர் சின்னத் திரையில் நடிக்கத் தொடங்கினார். நிறைய சீரியல்களில் நடித்துள்ள வசந்த், சின்னத்திரை நடிகர் சங்கத் தலைவராகவும் இருந்து வந்தார்.

சமீபத்தில் வசந்த்துக்கு இருதய நோய் ஏற்பட்டது. இதையடுத்து அறுவைச் சிகிச்சை மூலம் பேஸ் மேக்கர் கருவி பொருத்தப்பட்டது. இந்த நிலையில் நேற்று இரவு அவருக்கு மாரடைப்பு ஏற்பட்டது. உடனடியாக அவரை விஜயா இருதய மருத்துவமனைக்குக் கொண்டு சென்றனர். ஆனால் அவர் ஏற்கனவே இறந்து விட்டதாக டாக்டர்கள் தெரிவித்தனர்.

52 வயதாகும் வசந்துக்கு மனைவி , ஒரு மகள் உள்ளனர். வசந்த் உடலுக்கு திரையுலகினர், சின்னத் திரை நடிகர் , நடிகைகள், இயக்குநர்கள், தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் உள்ளிட்டோர் அஞ்சலி செலுத்தினர்.

Kovai Ramesh, a popular artiste in Sun TV's comedy show Asatha Povathu aru, died in a road accident today early morning. He and his friends were coming back to Kovai from Madurai, when near Kankeyam, his car collided with a truck. Mimicry artiste Kovai Ramesh alias Ramesh Kumar, who is known to leave his audience in fits of laughter, had them in tears on Saturday, for, he died on his 40th birthday. Coincidentally, it was also the birthday of driver Karthikeyan who also died in the fatal accident.

Kovai Ramesh rose to dizzy heights from a humble beginning as a mimicry artiste performing at stage shows. His acquaintance with Kovai Guna and Kovai Ashok helped him become part of the talent show `Kalakkapovadhu Yaaru' telecast by Vijay TV in 2005. Since then there was no looking back for this talented artiste who captivated the viewers by dressing in female attire and imitating yesteryear heroines' voices.

An alumnus of CSI Higher Secondary School, Ramesh did costume designing course. After learning the nuances of the trade at a men's wear showroom, he had set up a shop at Ramanathapuram. Director Rajkumar said that it was a tragic end to an artiste who was a darling of the masses. Nakeeran Gopal who flew to Coimbatore took part in a procession from the Oppanakkara Street, where Ramesh body was kept to Chokkampudur Corporation cremation ground. Ramesh's younger brother Sathish said that they have planned to hold a condolence meeting next week.

காஞ்சிபுரத்தை அடுத்த தாமல் என்ற ஊரைச் சேர்ந்த கிருஷ்ணசாமியின் மகள் பட்டம்மாள். அவருடைய தாயார் காந்திமதி சிறந்த பாடகி. தாயிடம் சிட்சை பெற்ற பட்டம்மாள் 1932-ல் தனது பத்தாவது வயதிலேயே ரசிக ரஞ்சனி சபாவில் மேடையேறி முதல் கச்சேரி செய்து புதிய வரலாறு படைத்தார். பத்ம பூஷண், பத்ம விபூஷண், கான சரஸ்வதி மற்றும் சங்கீத நாடக அகாதெமி வழங்கும் விருதுகள் என்று பல்வேறு சிறப்புகளைப் பெற்றவர் டி.கே. பட்டம்மாள்.

கொச்சி: பிரபல மலையாள - தமிழ் வில்லன் நடிகர் ராஜன் பி தேவ் காலமானார். அவருக்கு வயது 54.

நீரிழிவு நோயாளியான அவர் உடல் நலம் இல்லாமல் சில தினங்களாக தனது கிராமமான அங்கமல்லியில் ஓய்வில் இருந்தார். நேற்று முன்தினம் அவருக்கு ரத்த வாந்தி மற்றும் சுகவீனம் ஏற்பட்டது.

இதனால் அவர் கொச்சியில் லக்ஷோர் மருத்துவமனையில் மருத்துவமனையில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டார். மருத்துவர்கள் தீவிர சிகிச்சை மேற்கொண்டனர். ஆனாலும் அவர் அபாய கட்டத்தைத் தாண்டாமல் நினைவிழந்த நிலையில் இருந்தார்.

இன்று காலை அவர் நினைவு திரும்பாமலேயே அவர் உயிர் பிரிந்தது.

அவரது இந்த திடீர் மறைவு, மலையாள - தமிழ் திரையுலகை பெரும் அதிர்ச்சிக்குள்ளாக்கியுள்ளது.

'சூரியன்' படம் மூலம் தமிழில் அறிமுகமானார் ராஜன் பி தேவ். பின்னர் ஜென்டில்மேன், லவ்டுடே, குஷி, பெரிய இடத்து மாப்பிள்ளை, ஆனந்தப் பூங்காற்றே என பெரும்பாலான வெற்றிப் படங்களில் அவரது பாத்திரம் முக்கியப் பங்கு வகித்தது.

வில்லனாக மட்டுமின்றி அருமையான குணச்சித்திர நடிகராகவும் திகழ்ந்தார். சில படங்களில் அவர் நடித்த நகைச்சுவை வேடங்கள் ரசிகர்களுக்கு பெரும் மாறுதலாக அமைந்தன.

1983-ம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து நடிக்கும் நடித்துவரும் ராஜன் பி தேவ் தமிழ், மலையாளம், தெலுங்கு, கன்னட மொழிகளில் 520க்கும் மேற்பட்ட படங்களில் நடித்துள்ளார்.

அவருக்கு சாந்தா என்ற மனைவியும், ஆஷாம்மா என்ற மகளும் ஜிபில் ராஜ் என்ற மகனும் உள்ளனர்.

மறைந்த ராஜன் பி தேவின் இறுதிச் சடங்கு நாளை நடக்கிறது.
