In this thread, Hubbers may post those Hindi songs which have an Emotional Impact on them -
reminding of someone, or some incident, some city or just plain nostalgia !

I start with Jaaneman Jaaneman, which was the song which IMO,
brought recognition to KJ Yesudas in Bollywood, though I think it was
the 2nd Hindi film song he had sung !

Thank you for posting both the bhajan and movie version...I liked the bhajan version alot The movie version reminded me of a scene in "Shankarabharanam"...

I remember listneing to few of his numbers as a kid. Thanks to his son, the MAGIC was re-created in veer zaara.

Who can forget "jaanam dekhlo mitgayi" or other numbers

Simply awesome lyrics. Lovely apt music, to match with the "emptiness" felt deep within.

Frustration which doesn't give way to anger but hollow nothingness, and then slowly the bottled up anger surfaces up. Pent up anger of a man, who is "unfit" to live in this clever world. Can anyone relate a tamizh song hich has similar lyrics portraying "frustration and a surge of anger felt within?" ?
