  well not only that. nobody who brought the movie complained. it was sold for reasonable rate. also lot of sites posted the collection results which clearly shows it is a superhit, also remember the large no of release/record no of prints.

  NJV must understand that a Tamil movie with less than 2 hours running time ,with no songs ,with no love tracks ,with no heroine ,with no hero - villian dishum dishum ,with no intended comedies ....and its commercial success .. keep these in mind when you compare with any other movie.

  First njv laughed at all of us calling this a hit/superhit whatever. He accused Kamal of "falsely proclaiming on the 1st day itself" etc etc.. A guy who didn't even care to stretch blockbusters like VV/Dasa
  
  Now, he has scaled down his rhetoric and says he merely questioned on what basis Kamal said in Vijay TV on the 1st/2nd day that the film was a superhit. I would appreciate if someone refreshed my memory a bit (i'm not sarcastic i seriously don't remember perfectly).. opening weekend la andha mahdiri programme Vijay TV la pottadha ennakku nyabagam illa.
  Enakku nyabagam irukkara varaikkum September 26th is the first time i saw a video in which Kamal talks about the victory. Maybe i missed an earlier video? And i think 2nd weekend is when we had those interviews and discussions in Vijay and Kalaignar TV illaya?
  First indha matter a clear pannuvom.
  Sakala, do you remember seeing any such video in Vijay TV on the 1st/2nd day?
