"சிரிப்பு தளபதி" சந்தானம்

தளபதி என்றால் அவனுக்கு ஒரு மன்னன் / சக்கரவர்த்தி இருக்க வேண்டும்...

அவர் வேறு யாரும் அல்ல... அஞ்சாசிங்கம் அண்ணன் கவுண்டமணி அவர்கள் தான்

இதை பலரும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார்கள் என்று நம்புகிறேன்!!!!

I feel, he deserves a thread in this hub.... mainly because of his current form... I would say, he is the most wanted comedian by producers & directors.

His work ranges from small budget to high budget Endhiran.

The film which gave me this thought is Vaamanan.... & from then onwards, he had 2 more releases till date (Modhi Vilayadu & Malai Malai) & most of the reviews gave good opinion about his comedy.

Also, I am particularly looking about his comedy in the recent reviews & comparing with the review given for other comedian's work., in the films released alongside with his films.

  Humorous segment
  
  Be it ‘Nizhalgal’ Ravi, Azhagam Perumal or Ravichandran, all the actors do justice. Kannan digresses slightly from Imtiaz Ali’s original line and adds a humorous segment with Santhanam, which melds well with the main story. Hilarious most of the time, Santhanam is a value-addition to ‘KK.’ His comic interludes with Manobala evoke a smile. The dialogue and his delivery of the lines are rib-tickling.

  Santhanam's performance has received good response in Ananda Vikatan review.
  
  No -ves for Santhanam & he was praised right from his entry & his nakkal to a grandma.. "nee ellam pOna varusame pOi serndhuruppEnu nenachEn.. innum irukkiya" (like this).
  
  Director gets a pat on the back for extending Santhanam's character from the original.
  
  Barath was mentioned 3rd after Tamanna & Santhanam, in terms of performance.
  
  They have mentioned him as "adutha soundamani'dOi" (though we all say with one voice.. he is just 0.1% of GM.. I feel someone like him need to continue GM's legacy) I think, both GM & santhanam act together in a scene.. though they were seen in the same film (Manmadhan).
  
  Bottom line from AV.. u can watch KK for.. Tamanna & Santhanam's comedy.

  Actually the GM influence is screaming obvious to me. Are there folks who like Santhanam but not GM. One of my acquaintances is like that and it confused me thoroughly how such a thing was possible.

  "Dhum katra " is one of GM's famous solladal. Annan Anja singam pointing towards VV who is cleaning his auto, dei, andha veenguna oanan madhiri oruthan irukkane, avana varachollu
  
  when vv comes he asks him to leave his children to school in his auto. vv says, sari daily vadagaya illa maasa vadaga pesikkilama. gm - dei, ennada pesikkilam ? and he slaps him. now vv kodichi poi sound uduvaru
  
  now, gm says - baduva nee romba dhum katra
  
  Now look how Santhanam had used it in Malai malai
