and Vijay has potentially a huge lot of "non-mega" viewers .... logically Mani Ratnam isnt looking for fame but looking for better viewers i guess ! or it may be that he didnt get a slot in Sun n other mega TVs ... 
nevertheless its gonna be a treat for viewers ... n Vijay TV is gonna get a lot more onlookers

agreed on ur kavalai 
ladies at home mark the biggest ever onlookers for the TV channels - specially when it comes to drama ... am not sure if they find the handling of camera / photography / etc as interesting as the current mega serials .... IMO ...
