| Sivaji Productions big budget action adventure Ajit’s Asal, directed by Saran has started its dubbing at Four Frames studio.
Producer Ram Kumar wanted the dubbing for the film which is almost 90 percent complete to start on Wednesday (Nov 18), a very auspicious day. The young guns in Sivaji Productions, Dushyant and Arjun, sons of producer Ram Kumar and his brother Prabhu are in charge of the entire production of Asal. Says Ram Kumar: “These kids are doing great job, precise and professional, they have wrapped up almost the entire shoot on schedule. We are planning to release the film in January.” Once the dubbing finishes, Saran plans to finish the shoot of two songs for the film one to be shot in a foreign location and the other on a set erected in a Chennai studio. It will be Ajit’s biggest ever movie. |

| Simbu not doing cameo in Ajit's 'Asal'
Some time back it was rumoured that the talented Silambarasan, a self-proclaimed fan of actor Ajit, would be doing a cameo in the latter's upcoming Saran-directed film 'Asal'. On his part, Simbu had gone on record saying that if the script and his role were satisfactory to him, he would have no qualms in starring in his favourite actor's film. Will he or not? We asked the man himself and Simbu replied by saying, "Till this date, I haven't been approached by anyone with an offer to do a role in the film. Had I been offered such a chance, I wouldn't have missed it for sure! Many a time I have communicated to my fans, through the dialogues and sequences in my films, that I'm a great fan of Ajit. That being the case, how would I miss out on such an opportunity?" It appears that Simbu is yearning for a chance to appear on-screen alongside his idol. Is any producer or director listening? |
