  Looks like we just have to play the waiting game until Pongal. With most of the biggie movies in line for the festival, one can just for the time being keep a tab on the participants coming up in that season.
  
  And among the forerunners is our Ultimate Star’s ‘Asal’.
  
  Directed by Saran, this Ajith-Bhavana-Sameera Reddy starrer is making a headlong way towards its completion. The movie expected for Pongal, is said to have completed 90 percent.
  
  Recently, Asal’s dubbing schedule took off in Four Frames Preview Theatre with a simple pooja ceremony. Ajith, Saran, Arjun (Prabhu’s son), Dushyanth (Ramkumar’s son) beside other members of the movie were present there.

  Ajith starts speaking
  
  Asal, the Ultimate Star Ajith’s current venture directed by Saran is proceeding at a vigorous pace and the dubbing of the film began on the 19th of November at Four Frames Preview Theatre Chennai. The dubbing commenced with a small pooja which was attended by Prabhu’s son Arjun, Ramkumar’s son Dushyanth, director Saran and hero Ajith along with a few people associated with the film.
  
  Kollywood circles aver that 90% of the film is complete and the remaining is also being canned continuously to ensure that the film is a Pongal treat for Ajith’s fans. For late starters, Asal is being produced by Sivaji Films and has Sameera Reddy and Bhavna as the heroines.

  Bollywood choreographer for Thala’s Asal
  
  Bollywood’s most happening choreographer is all making his comeback in Kollywood after his stunning appearance and show in ‘Azhagai Irukirai Bhayamai Irukirudhu’. Yeah! Now we’ll have our ‘Thala’ shaking his legs to the catchy dance steps of Ganesh Acharya.
  
  It’s worth mentioning that Ganesh Acharya has choreographed songs for various chartbusters of Bollywood including ‘Chak De India’, ‘Race’ and yet to release ‘De Dana Dan’.
  
  Producer of the film Prabhu says that Ganesh Acharya from Mumbai was actually named after his father Sivaji Ganeshan and indeed was his ardent buff. Now, it’s really to see the connections with legendry actor will yield stunning results for the songs.

  Yughi Sethu makes it into ‘ASAL’
  
  First things First, Yughi Sethu performing a prominent role in Ajith Kumar’s ‘ASAL’ maybe quite a hackneyed news to all. But here’s something catchier with lots of surprisal… Uh-huh! It has been reported by inside sources Yughi Sethu, who penned the script for ‘ASAL’ was supposed to direct it as well.
  
  Yeah! Yughi Sethu has been a close pal of actor Ajith Kumar right from a very long period of time ever since he penned script and screenplay for Ultimate Star’s ‘Villain’.
  
  Yughi Sethu had a big dream about commencing his debut directorial with ‘ASAL’ as it would be a great start off for his mileage. But due to some reasons, the protocol was shifted to the hands of Saran.
  
  Anyways, best things will make always best and Yughi Sethu will achieve it soon. Now, he has been shooting for the film ‘ASAL’ where he will spell some of the rib-tickling comedy tracks with the characterization of ‘Samosa’.
