| Waltz with Bashir - Its an animated documentary actually. Very intense and in fact surrealistic at times. The director who actually was a part of the 1982 Lebanon war tries to recollect his memories by meeting with various people who were part of the war either directly or indirectly. Towards the end of the movie they show footages of the after-war scenes. Dead bodies, people crying and stuff. An anti-war film. Pretty good. |

The people behind these animation flicks are fantastic writers. Great characterizations. Panda was lovely, very likeable. Most of the characters are. But the film was a little incoherent at places and lacked *logic*. No wonder, Wall-E beat it to the oscars.| From: VENKIRAJA on Mon Jun 22 5:06:05 2009. | [Full View] |
