நாலு சுவரும் செடியும்

அங்கங்கே தங்கள் அங்கங்களை
பொருத்திக்கொண்டு உட்கார்ந்திருந்தனர்.
எல்லோர் மனதிலும் ஏனோ ஒரு வெற்றிடம்.
சத்தமிட்டு தான் அழுதும் சிரித்தும் கொண்டிருந்தாள்
தொலைக்காட்சியில் கதாநாயகி – இருந்தும்
நடுத்தர குடும்பத்தின் நகர வாழ்க்கையின்
வெறுமை குடிகொண்டிருந்தது அந்த
நாலு சுவரின் அறைக்குள்ளே.
எப்படியோ ஒரு மூலையில் இடம் பிடித்துவிட்ட
பூந்தொட்டிச் செடி மட்டுமே அப்பொழுது
உயிரோடு இருந்தது காற்றில் அசைந்துகொண்டு.
